Washington High School, located at 2205 Forest Drive SE Cedar Rapids, is getting a $30 Million renovation. Construction is set to start after the school year is complete June of 2025 and is slated to be finished by December of 2027. Plans call for adding classroom space to the front of the building. Then, transform the current CTE space into a future 9th Grade Academy with a separate entrance for 9th-grade students.
