The Cedar Rapids Community School District has been strategically addressing facility needs at the elementary level for the past 5 years using local option sales tax dollars and PPEL funds. To take the next step, which will focus on middle school and high schools, the district is asking for a $220 Million GO Bond in the November 2023 election. The bond vote must be approved by a 60% majority of eligible voters in the district.
